Password Generator

Each character comes from your device's cryptographic random number generator, with no bias towards any letter. Every set you turn on appears at least once: a password missing one is thrown away and drawn again, so every allowed password is equally likely.

Entropy is the number of guesses it would take to try every possible password, written as a power of two. Each extra character multiplies it, which is why length matters more than symbols. The time to guess assumes an attacker trying 10 billion passwords a second and finding yours halfway through.

Your length and character choices are remembered on this device. The passwords themselves are never saved anywhere: copy one before you leave the page.
