Add the people at the table, then each item from the receipt with who had it. An item for one person is theirs; a shared item is split evenly between the people ticked, and Everyone splits it across the whole table, including anyone added later.

Tax and tip are spread in proportion to what each person ordered, so whoever had more pays more of them: tip = items × tip%, and each share of tax or tip is amount × your items ÷ all items. Type the tax as the dollar amount on the receipt.

Everything is worked in whole cents. When an amount does not divide evenly, the leftover cents go one each to the people with the largest fractions, the calculator says who pays a cent more, and the shares always add up to the total.
