Answer with

Two-digit and three-digit adding and taking away, one number above the other.

Who is practicing

Each player has their own levels and progress.

How this works

Pick an operation and a level, then answer with the number pad or the four choices. On a keyboard, type the digits and press Enter; Backspace deletes, Escape clears and, on the below-zero level, the minus key adds the sign. With choices, 1 to 4 pick an answer. Not sure? Check with nothing typed, then Check again, shows the answer; that counts as a miss.

Every question fits its level. Adding and taking away go from sums up to 10, to sums up to 20, to two-digit numbers without and then with regrouping (carrying and borrowing), to three-digit numbers. Taking away never goes below zero unless you pick the below-zero level. Times goes from tables 1 to 5 up to three-digit by one-digit, and division always comes out to a whole number. Mixed asks all four at the same level. Column form puts two-digit and three-digit adding and taking away one above the other, the way it is written on paper.

A miss shows the right answer for a moment, and that question comes back after three others. Get it right then and it comes back once more a little later, to make it stick. Ten right in a row on a level suggests the next level with a button at the top; moving up is always your choice, and Undo goes back. A level counts as passed once it has had ten right in a row.

Practice has no timer and no end. Challenge asks 20 questions from the level, with an optional 60-second timer, and keeps the best score for each level. The day streak counts the days in a row with at least one answer.

Progress is saved on this device only, for each player. Reset progress empties the current player's, and Undo brings it back. Sound is off until you turn it on.
