      How this works

Farkle is a folk dice game. On your turn you roll six dice and set aside at least one die that scores; then roll the rest to add more, or bank what you have. If a roll has no scoring dice, that is a Farkle: the turn ends and scores nothing. When all six dice have scored, that is hot dice: roll all six again and keep your turn total.

House rules used here: a single 1 is 100 and a single 5 is 50. Three of a kind is the face times 100 (three 1s are 1,000); four of a kind 1,000, five 2,000, six 3,000. A 1 to 6 straight, three pairs, or four of a kind with a pair are 1,500, and two triplets are 2,500. Dice score only with dice from the same roll, and when they can be counted two ways they count the way worth more (four 1s are three 1s and a 1, 1,100).

The first player to reach the target starts the final round: everyone else gets one more turn and the highest score wins. Alone, the game ends at the target and the score is how many turns it took. With the 500 rule on, your first bank needs 500 or more in one turn. The target and the 500 rule are set when a game starts, under Players.

On a keyboard, 1 to 6 pick dice, Space or Enter rolls, B banks and U undoes. Undo takes back a bank until the next roll. Dice use your device's cryptographic random number generator. The game, your records and settings are saved on this device only; sound is off until you turn it on.
